A total of 78 students in Jordan achieved 100 out of 100 in their Tawjihi exam results, said the Minister of Education, Tayseer Nuaimi, in a press conference on Saturday.

Last year only one student achieved full marks in the Tawjihi exams.

One of those 78 students, Ahmad Abu al-Rub, told Roya the most important thing to be successful in the examinations is to know how to manage your time.

“Students have to be fully focused, manage their time well and they will get the full mark,” he said.

He also talked about how coronavirus had made the exams more difficult.

The Ministry of Education announced the results of Tawjihi on Saturday at dawn, despite expectations of an announcement taking place at 10am.

Celebrations could be heard across the country.

The overall pass rate for the Tawjihi exams was 56.5%.
