Iraq resumed tourist flights in most of its airports on Thursday morning, following four months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Several planes took off today from Baghdad International Airport to Lebanon and Turkey, while adhering to all precautionary health measures.

The Basrah International Airport and Al Najaf International Airport also reopened Thursday, while Erbil International Airport and Sulaymaniyah International Airport will remain closed until August 1, according to Kurdish authorities.
