Boat trips between Jordan and Egypt resumed on Monday, following a three-month suspension as a result of the coronavirus crisis.
The first boat took 355 people from Jordan’s Aqaba port to the Egyptian of port of Nuweiba, organised through the Arab Bridge Maritime Company.
All precautionary measures were taken to ensure passengers' health and safety, and luggage was sterilised.
One-way boat trips from Jordan to Egypt will now take place twice a week through the Arab Bridge Maritime Company.
