His Majesty King Abdullah II attended on Monday, September 30, 2019, the funeral of former French President Jacques Chirac, which was held at the Saint-Sulpice Church in Paris.

His Majesty offered condolences to French President Emmanuel Macron and the family of the deceased on the passing away of the former French leader.

France has declared Monday as a national day of mourning in honor of Chirac, who died on Thursday.
