The Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority, Ali Al-Quoz said on Monday, March 25, 2019, that the cadres of Dams' administration in Jordan are currently dealing with the flooding of four dams namely King Talal Dam, the Mujib Dam, the Wala Dam, and the Shueib Valley Dam for the first time at the same time.
Quoz stressed that all measures have been taken in cooperation with the concerned authorities, adding that the Authority has warned all citizens and farmers in the areas below these Dams.
Quoz noted that after the heavy rainfall, water levels recorded 25 cubic meters per second in the Wala Dam, 35 cubic meters in the Mujib Dam, 15 cubic meters in King Talal Dam and 10 cubic meters in the Shueib Valley Dam.
