Osama Tarifi, Head of Operations and the weather forecaster at "Arabia Weather" denied that the UK's Met Office weather service said that Jordan and some regions in the Middle East are witnessing the coldest winter in 100 years.
Tarifi said that what some shared on social media platforms are the usual rumors circulated around this time of year.
Regarding weather forecast this weekend, Tarifi said that Jordan is expected to witness rainy weather in different parts of the country on Friday, November 23, 2018 with temperatures remaining 4-6 degrees below the annual average.
Tarifi called on citizens to be careful and check information before sharing it, pointing out that Jordan has meteorological devices that can provide citizens with more accurate information about weather conditions affecting the Kingdom within sufficient time.
