'Israeli' strikes on Yemen kill 4, injure 67
'Israeli' airstrikes hit Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, on Sunday, killing at least four people and wounding dozens, according to the Houthis.
Agence France-Presse (AFP) images captured a massive fireball illuminating the skies over Sanaa, followed by a column of thick black smoke. A Houthi health ministry spokesperson confirmed four dead and 67 injured, updating an earlier casualty count.
A Houthi security official told AFP the strikes targeted a building in central Sanaa. The group’s Al-Masirah TV reported that an oil company facility and a power station in southern Sanaa, already struck last Sunday, were also hit.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said the attacks targeted a military compound near the presidential palace, two power stations, and a fuel depot. According to 'Israel', the strikes were “in response to repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel and its civilians, including in recent days.”
Late Friday, the Houthis fired a missile that 'Israeli' authorities said “most likely fragmented in mid-air.” The missile reportedly carried a cluster warhead, the first of its kind fired from Yemen, according to 'Israeli' media outlets Times of Israel and Yedioth Ahronoth.

The 'Israeli' Defence Ministry released a photo showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Israel Katz, and IOF chief Eyal Zamir observing the strikes from a command bunker.
Netanyahu stated that 'Israel’s' air force had hit “the presidential palace in the heart of the capital Sanaa, the city’s power plant and the fuel tanks that supply it.” He added, “The terrorist Houthi regime is learning the hard way that it will pay, and has paid already, a very high price for its aggression against the State of Israel. The whole region is also learning a lesson in Israeli power.”
The Houthis responded, vowing they would “not deviate from the fight” against 'Israel' and its ally, the United States, “until the aggression stops and the [Israeli] blockade on Gaza is lifted.” Iran’s foreign ministry condemned the 'Israeli' strikes.
