Jordan's Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) advised travelers to liaise with airlines regarding their bookings, verify flight schedules, and check for any rescheduled flights.

Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Captain Haitham Misto, announced on Wednesday that this recommendation is prompted by recent weather conditions experienced in several Arab Gulf countries over the past two days.

These conditions have resulted in the cancellation or rescheduling of some flights to and from Jordan.

Dubai Airports Authority issued a notice urging travelers to avoid visiting the airport unless absolutely necessary, citing the unprecedented weather conditions in the country.

Delays in flight schedules and ongoing diversions of several other flights were also reported.
