Departing passengers have encountered difficulties reaching the airport, while arriving passengers have faced challenges exiting the terminal due to floods and road closures.

Consequently, there's a scarcity of transportation options to and from the airport. The Authority reported tirelessly collaborating with emergency response teams to swiftly restore normal operations and assist guests.

Flight schedules are experiencing delays, with some flights diverted to alternate locations due to a shortage of airline personnel.

The statement also stressed that overcoming these operational challenges will require some time for the recovery process.
