Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Safadi, welcomed Saturday the President of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, Saqr Ghobash, and the accompanying delegation, comprised of members of the UAE Federal National Council.

Safadi and Ghobash are scheduled to engage in official discussions at the House of Representatives on Sunday, aiming to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in parliamentary affairs, and to assess opportunities for collaborative endeavors.

Expressing his appreciation for Ghobash's visit and the accompanying delegation, Safadi underscored the significance of aligning shared positions to advance the interests of both nations and their people.

Upon their arrival, the Emirati delegation was greeted by Abdulrahim Al-Maaytah, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mayada Shreim, the Assistant Speaker of the House of Representatives, and MP Ghazi Al-Thneibat, the Chairman of the Jordanian-Emirati Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee.

The Emirati delegation, consisting of members of the Federal National Council, includes Dr. Ahmed Eid Al Mansouri, Hashimah Yasser Al Afari, Salem Rashid Al Muftool, Sultan Salem Al Zaabi, Mohamed Ahmed Al Yammahi, Naama Abdullah Al Sharhan, and Najla Ali Al Shamsi. Additionally, Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, the Secretary-General of the Council, and Tariq Ahmed Al Marzouqi, the Assistant Secretary-General for the Presidency Affairs of the Council, are part of the delegation.
