On behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh received Sunday the President of the World Bank Group, Ajay Banga, at the Prime Ministry.

In response, Banga underscored the significance of the strategic alliance between the Bank and Jordan, lauding the country's reforms in various sectors. He reiterated the Bank's readiness to assist Jordan in overcoming economic challenges.

Khasawneh emphasized Jordan's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the World Bank to drive economic recovery and sustainable growth. He highlighted the progress made in implementing His Majesty King Abdullah's reform directives and expressed the government's eagerness to bolster cooperation for comprehensive reform.

The meeting emphasized Jordan's continued support for various priority projects in sectors such as entrepreneurship, education, transportation, water, and information technology.
