Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, Director of the Operations Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, stated Tuesday that the center and the Embassy of Jordan in Khartoum evacuated four Jordanian citizens from Sudan to the Republic of Chad.

He added that arrangements are underway for their return to the Kingdom as soon as possible.

The citizens were evacuated by land across the border between Sudan and Chad and are being provided with the necessary support until their safe return to Jordan, as detailed by Qudah.

The evacuation operation is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts since the beginning of the crisis in Sudan in April.
