Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Friday that reaching an agreement on immigration is "impossible.”
Orban referred to an agreement that was reached on Wednesday that seeks to implement a mandatory solidarity mechanism between EU member states if any of them face a massive influx of migrants at their borders, as was the case during the Syrian refugee crisis of 2015 and 2016.
"Poland and Hungary were not satisfied" he said, speaking as he arrived for talks at a meeting of the European Political Community in Granada, southern Spain.
