During the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, the Israeli Occupation's Ambassador Gilad Erdan violated diplomatic protocol, resulting in his removal from the meeting room.

Ambassador Erdan raised a sign during Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's speech, prompting security personnel to escort him out of the room.

Erdan was temporarily detained outside the chamber before being escorted away, as reported by media outlets.

This incident followed his display of a photo of Mahsa Amini, an Iranian prisoner who passed away in an Iranian prison, with the caption "Iranian women deserve freedom now."

Approaching the platform where President Raisi was speaking, Erdan's actions prompted security personnel to swiftly intervene, restrain him and escort him out of the premises.

Activists pointed out that Erdan seemed to forget that his country takes Palestinian lives and occupies their land while claiming to defend freedoms.
