Labor Ministry issues warnings to 1,148 establishments in first half of 2023

Since the start of 2023, the Ministry of Labor has issued official warnings to 1,148 establishments, while additionally levying 2,468 violations against businesses that contravened the stipulations of the Labor Law and associated regulations.

The ministry's statement outlined that inspection teams conducted approximately 14,000 visits across different sectors across the Kingdom during the first half of this year.

During this six-month period, inspection teams executed targeted specific sectors and violations.

These include employment offices, private schools, agricultural establishments, security and protection companies, non-Jordanian labor law violations, and cases of child labor.
