Thursday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh visited the Froukh family's demolished home in Ramallah and promised to rebuild every destroyed home and cater to the needs of the affected families.

He confirmed that this is part of the government's responsibility towards the Palestinian people.

Shtayyeh spoke to reporters and said: “What the occupation authorities did was a heinous crime,” he told reporters.

“These punitive measures that did not happen in history are an attempt by the occupation authorities to demoralize our people,” he continued.

“It is quite clear that this government is disregarding any Palestinian sovereignty, whether that was stipulated in the agreements or otherwise," he said referencing the areas of the West Bank designated in the 1993 Oslo Accords into A, the cities which are under full Palestinian sovereignty, B, the towns and villages under joined Palestinian administration and Israeli security, and the scarcely inhabited C, which makes up most of the West Bank that remained under full Israeli military control explained the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Thursday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished a Palestinian prisoner's home during an overnight raid on Ramallah.

The demolition, which was implemented under the pretext that Froukh was allegedly involved in the killing of two people from the Israeli Occupation, left his parents and four sisters homeless.
