Saturday, the media spokesperson for the Ministry of Education Abdul Ghafoor al-Quraan said that the ministry will do everything in its power to contribute to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

He expressed the ministry's readiness to utilize schools as field hospitals and lend its capabilities to contribute to combatting the coronavirus crisis, alongside the kingdom's health workers. He stressed that the Ministry of Health has not formally requested to use schools as field hospitals.

Quraan added that Jordan has reached a stage which requires the joint efforts of all governmental and private institutions to overcome the pandemic.
