A Palestinian citizen was shot by Israeli troops near the West Bank settlement of Ariel on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, Ma'an News Agency reported.

The Israeli troops opened fire on the Palestinian citizen and caused him injuries under the pretext that he tried to stab a soldier of the Israeli forces.
