Queen Rania visits King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Orphanage

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Orphanage on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

The King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Orphanage, which is located in Salt, was established by the Jordan Red Crescent Society in mid 1960s. It currently homes 12 girls aged between 4-15 years old.

Her Majesty toured the Orphanage and checked on the recently completed transformation and upgrades of its facilities. The renovation process was executed under the guidance of Her Majesty’s Office and implemented in collaboration with Nashmi Center for Youth Empowerment.

The Queen was welcomed by President of the Orphanage, Sabri Al Masoud, and Director of the Orphanage, Rima Kloub, who briefed Her Majesty on the recent implemented upgrades.
