Many Arab radio and TV stations started on Sunday a joint broadcast to show support for Jerusalem following Trump’s decision to recognize it as Israel’s capital.

The broadcast will include Egypt, Jordan and Palestinian broadcast stations, started on Sunday morning and expected to end at 10:00 pm of the same day.

Ahmed Assaf, the general supervisor of official Palestinian media said the broadcast will be “a message to Trump that his declaration about Jerusalem is rejected,”.

“It’s also a message to Israel that Jerusalem belongs to Palestinians and Arab,” he said.

“This message is also directed to our people that they are not alone in defending Jerusalem,” Assaf said.

The broadcast will include programs hosting a number of Palestinian and Arab guests to speak about the importance of Jerusalem to Arabs and Muslims, in addition to screening documentaries about Jerusalem and its historic importance for Arabs and Muslims.

This comes as a part of many humble efforts taken by Arabs to express their support with Jerusalem and send their message to the world to pressure the international society to stop Trump’s decision.
