North Korea claims that the hydrogen bomb it tested today was its powerful yet.

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Jordan today at 6:30am, coming from the northern part of the Korean Peninsula, according to the Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO).

North Korea had announced the success of its sixth nuclear test since 2006, by testing a hydrogen bomb that was designed to be mounted on an intercontinental ballistic missile potentially allowing it to fly thousands of kilometers.

“The test was a great success,” said North Korean national TV.

Both South Korea and China recorded two violent earthquakes near the test sites in North Korea.
