Schedule revealed for second prisoner exchange release

The Palestinian Prisoners' Commission has disclosed the schedule for the examination and release of prisoners included in the second phase of the prisoner exchange deal.

Thair Shreiteh, the media spokesperson for the commission, stated that according to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the inspection and medical examination of prisoners in Ofer Prison will begin at 5:00 AM on Saturday, conducted by an ICRC team.

The actual release process is expected to take place between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the same day.

Shreiteh emphasized that all updates provided jointly by the commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club are sourced from official and supervisory parties involved in overseeing the exchange process.
