Safadi to meet French President Macron today over Gaza

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, along with members of the ministerial committee tasked by the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit with international efforts to stop the war on Gaza, will meet with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron today, Friday.

Safadi and his French counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Stéphane Séjourné, will hold bilateral talks addressing developments in Gaza, efforts to reach a ceasefire, and joint cooperation in delivering aid to the sector, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This is in addition to discussing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and issues of mutual interest.

Macron will discuss the situation with Qatar's Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, Egypt's Sameh Shoukry, Ayman Safadi of Jordan and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud, the Elysee said – according to a statement by the Élysée Palace.
