The Israeli Occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip has entered its 173rd consecutive day, with the death toll reaching 32,333 martyrs and 74,694 injured since Oct. 7, 2023.

Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis ceased all operations on Tuesday after the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) evacuated medical staff and blocked its entrances with berms, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS confirmed that “Israeli” forces fired smoke grenades at the hospital to force out medical staff, patients, and displaced individuals. Everyone present at the hospital was evacuated in two stages, with the first stage involving displaced individuals and some patients, and the second stage involving hospital staff, remaining patients, and wounded.

In a statement, the Red Crescent emphasized that the direct targeting of Al-Amal Hospital, along with its staff, adds to the record of continuous “Israeli” violations against “medical duties” in general and those of PRCS in particular since the start of the aggression on Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023.

The number of martyrs from the Palestinian Red Crescent has reached 15, while more than 35 others have been injured, with 13 staff members still detained by the IOF with fate still unknown.

The IOF’s death toll currently stands at 596 since Oct. 7, 2023, with 252 deaths recorded since the start of the ground invasion of Gaza on Oct. 27.

Since the onset of the “Israeli” aggression on Gaza, 3,130 occupation soldiers have been injured, with 490 in critical condition, 831 moderately injured, and 1,809 sustaining minor injuries.
