Worshipers leaving Tarawih prayers in the Bab al-Khalil area of occupied Jerusalem were reportedly attacked by both the Israeli Occupation police and settlers, on Monday evening, according to Roya's correspondent.

Earlier, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) entered the Al-Qibli prayer hall while settlers simultaneously stormed the revered Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

The Islamic Endowments Department stated that numerous settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque via the Mughrabi Gate, heavily escorted by the Israeli Occupation police, on the first day of Eid.

Among them were extremist settlers affiliated with temple groups, posing as "temple priests," aiming to assert an extremist Jewish presence within Aqsa Mosque.
