For the 140th consecutive day, the Israeli Occupation persists in relentlessly targeting civilians in the Gaza Strip, with intense strikes targeting Rafah and Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Additionally, the Occupation has intensified its artillery bombardment of the western areas of Khan Yunis.

Amidst these actions, the Israeli Occupation faces trial before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on charges of committing genocide against Palestinians.

- Rafah overcrowded with displaced people -

Meanwhile, “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to threaten to expand the Israeli Occupation's military operations in Rafah, which hosts 1.4 million Palestinians, most of whom are displaced.

Hamas has affirmed that "the occupation's continued bombing of homes in Gaza is the practical response of the occupying entity to the pleadings against it in the International Court of Justice."

They added that the continued targeting of civilian homes is the Israeli Occupation's insistence on a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing.

The Gaza Government Media Office stated that the occupation aircraft targeted four safe civilian houses, resulting in the death of 40 martyrs and at least 100 injuries. It emphasized that more than 90 percent of the casualties were children and women.

Meanwhile, Washington exerted heavy pressure on Tel Aviv to participate in a meeting in Paris regarding negotiations for a prisoner exchange deal, Hebrew newspapers reported.
