The Israeli Occupation has persisted in its assault on the Gaza Strip, utilizing starvation as a weapon.

Nebal Farsakh, spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent, has confirmed that the Israeli Occupation deliberately targets individuals seeking to provide aid to Gaza. This has resulted in a noticeable decrease in aid reaching the northern region of the strip.

Reports documented that the Israeli Occupation fired upon a United Nations aid convoy in central Gaza on Feb. 5, as reported by CNN.

- Humanitarian disaster -

The Red Crescent warned of an imminent real famine in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of many Palestinians.

It cautioned that the famine affecting the northern areas of the Strip would extend to other regions within Gaza.

- Aid suspended to northern strip -

UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed that food aid has not reached northern Gaza since Jan. 23. The United Nations World Food Programme has decided to halt the delivery of food aid to northern Gaza, citing "insecure conditions for aid distribution," signaling an imminent humanitarian catastrophe.

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip confirmed allegations that the Israeli Occupation intentionally deprived northern Gaza of food aid and blocked its entry.

Furthermore, the office shed light on the dire situation, noting that approximately two million Palestinians in Gaza have been displaced, with 700,000 of them suffering from infectious diseases as a consequence of displacement. Additionally, there have been 8,000 reported cases of viral hepatitis.

The lack of medication in the strip poses a severe risk to around 350,000 chronic patients. Additionally, 60 pregnant women are in danger due to the unavailability of healthcare services.
