The Israeli Occupation's relentless aggression against Gaza persists into its 138th day, with bombardments striking various areas of the strip.

The continuous aggression on Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of 29,195 Palestinians, along with 69,170 wounded, since October 7 of last year, as well as the loss of thousands under the rubble, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Amidst this crisis, the United Nations World Food Programme has halted the delivery of food aid to northern Gaza, citing security concerns that render distribution unsafe. This suspension has raised concerns about an imminent humanitarian catastrophe, with the Gaza Government Media Office accusing the Israeli Occupation of deliberately starving northern Gaza and blocking aid entry.

Adding to the dire situation, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed that food aid has not reached northern Gaza since January 23, warning of the looming risks of chronic malnutrition and inevitable famine in the strip.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Occupation army is expanding a road through the center of the Gaza Strip to facilitate its military operations, according to The Wall Street Journal, citing officials in Tel Aviv.

This move underscores Tel Aviv's broader efforts to reshape the terrain of the Gaza Strip to its advantage.
