The office of the “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement saying that it does not recognize the legitimacy of the ongoing proceedings at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The Trial is “designed to harm Israel’s right to defend itself from existential threats,” the statement said, adding that is a “part of a Palestinian attempt to dictate the results of a diplomatic settlement without any negotiations.”

“We will continue to fight this attempt, and the government and the Knesset are unified in rejecting his invalid trend,” it reiterated.

Additionally, the legal team member highlighted that the Israeli Occupation has consistently rebuffed negotiations with Palestinians, disregarding resolutions put forth by the United Nations.
