United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that there must be a reformed Palestinian Authority, emphasizing that integration will not occur without recognition of a Palestinian state.

Blinken, speaking at the World Economic Forum, called for the development of a Palestinian authority capable of taking care of its people.

He indicated that Iran is isolated from its partners in the region, noting that there are important and rational decisions capable of achieving a new vision.

Blinken mentioned that there are Arab and Islamic countries expressing readiness for the normalization and recognition of "Israel" for the first time.

He stated that any Palestinian authority without support from the Israeli Occupation would be unable to provide what is required for partnership between the two parties.
