British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has declared that British forces are vigilant and prepared to once again deter the Houthi forces.
In statements to the press on Tuesday evening, Sunak emphasized the need for an end to attacks on ships in the Red Sea, asserting that every necessary measure will be taken to mitigate such incidents.
Sunak argued that the Houthi military strike was restrained and proportional, initiated in response to a direct threat against British vessels. He further contended that Houthi attacks on global shipping put innocent lives at risk and resulted in significant economic harm.
