Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire and the prompt delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip.

During their meeting, which was part of the ongoing coordination and consultation process between the two countries, the ministers underscored the importance of implementing effective mechanisms to address the humanitarian crisis in the region.

Al-Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the unwavering stance of Jordan and the UAE against the displacement of Palestinians within and outside the Palestinian Territory. They emphasized the imperative for displaced individuals in Gaza to return to their areas.

Additionally, the ministers emphasized that the two-state solution remains the sole path to achieving security, stability, and a just and comprehensive peace in the region.

The discussion also focused on enhancing the historical fraternal relations between the two countries across various domains. Both ministers explored opportunities to expand investment and economic cooperation in alignment with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al-Safadi expressed gratitude for the continuous support extended by the UAE to Jordan, aiding the country in facing economic challenges and dealing with the repercussions of regional crises.
