The Israeli Occupation Prison Service (IPS) has finished its preparation and is ready to release the 30 Palestinian female and child prisoners from "Ofer" prison as part of the sixth batch of the prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and the Israeli Occupation.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs had announced Wednesday a list containing the names of Palestinian female and child set for release in the sixth batch of the prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and the Israeli Occupation.
The list, received by "Roya," includes the names of 15 female prisoners and 15 children.
Notably, the list included Ahed Tamimi, who was arrested by the occupation forces a few weeks ago.
The list of released prisoners featured names of Palestinian prisoners from the occupied territories for the first time in the history of the conflict.
The PPS and the Commission confirmed that the reception for the sixth batch of Palestinian female and child prisoners would take place in front of Ramallah Municipality Wednesday evening.
