Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said, in an official public statement, that Egypt “categorically rejects any attempts to eliminate the Palestinian cause and calls for the activation of international resolutions on this matter.”

Sisi re-affirmed Egypt's continued support for the Palestinian cause at all levels, and will utilize all the state’s agencies and institutions in doing so.

Sisi urged all relevant parties to act with prudence and implement international resolutions regarding the matter.
