A woman was martyred, and another was injured Tuesday, as the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) artillery shelled a house in the town of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.

According to Roya's correspondent, the martyr was 80 years old, and her granddaughter - of Syrian nationality - was injured due to the IOF's targeting of their house in the town of Kfar Kila with a shell.

She pointed out that a number of children survived the shelling.

In the early morning hours, the IOF aircraft launched an airstrike targeting the heights of Helta south of the town of Kfar Shuba and targeted the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab and Rmeish with a second airstrike.

The border area between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories is witnessing confrontations between Hezbollah, in addition to resistance factions, and the IOF with mutual shelling, coinciding with the ongoing aggression of the Israeli Occupation on the Gaza Strip.
