Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian denied the allegations of Israeli Occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Tehran's role in seizing the Galaxy Leadership, citing it as 'baseless.'
Amir-Abdollahian added Monday that the groups of the "Axis of Resistance" in the region are representatives of their countries and people, and base their decisions on their own interests.
Washington's obstruction of the ceasefire in Gaza leads to reactions from the resistance forces in the region, Iran's FM added.
Amir-Abdollahian also called on Islamic countries with diplomatic relations with the Israeli Occupation to sever those relations.
Occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had confirmed that the Houthis' seizure of a ship in the Red Sea was a "leap forward" in regard to Iranian attacks, noting that it creates international repercussions on the security of international shipping routes.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) had stated Saturday that the hijacking of a cargo ship by the Houthis near Yemen in the southern Red Sea is "a very grave incident of global consequence."
The IOF stated that the ship departed Turkey on its route to India, and was staffed by civilians of different nationalities, with no "Israelis" onboard.
Hebrew newspaper Haaretz confirmed that the hijacked ship by the Houthis belongs to a company owned by 'Israeli businessman' Rami Abraham Unger.
