The Jordan Meteorological Department has released its weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday.

The department predicts temperatures to be about 5-6 degrees Celsius below the average for this time of year.

During the day, the weather will be pleasantly autumnal in most areas of Jordan, and mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea region. There will be varying levels of cloud cover at different altitudes, with a possibility of light-scattered showers in limited parts of the northern and central regions of the Kingdom. 

At night, it will be cool in the high mountainous areas and mild in other regions.

Temperatures in Amman are expected to range between 22 degrees during the day and 18 degrees at night on Monday.
