An accident occurred at the Thalatheen Street intersection in Irbid early Friday, according to Roya's correspondent.

He noted that the accident resulted in no human injuries and was limited to material damages.

He further pointed out that the Greater Irbid Municipality had constructed this intersection approximately two months ago in order to regulate traffic flow and install a traffic signal at the location.

However, as of Friday, no action has been taken on the ground.

Business owners and drivers in the area opposed the construction of this intersection, considering it a danger to citizens' lives and a negative impact on traffic flow in the area.
