In the latest development in Jordan's political landscape, a seventh ministerial reshuffle is set to take place, with new ministers scheduled to be sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II.
The resignations of existing ministers were submitted during a cabinet session chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, paving the way for this change.
Key portfolios such as Government Communications, Water, Industry and Labor, and Political and Parliamentary Affairs are expected to undergo changes in leadership.
This move is in line with recent constitutional amendments aimed at implementing the principle of separation of powers.
The Khasawneh government is set to continue until the parliamentary elections in the fall of 2024.
