Numerous Palestinians in Beita, located in the southern part of Nablus, experienced respiratory distress as Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched chemical gas canisters toward their residences early Saturday.
According to Palestinian reports citing eyewitnesses, IOF entered a house around 1:00 a.m. and placed several neighborhoods under siege. They also reported that the forces forcibly entered homes, causing property damage.
Furthermore, Palestinian media detailed that military vehicles from the occupation were positioned in multiple neighborhoods, and entrances to Beita were blocked, preventing both entry and exit.
Beita has faced recurring incursions and road closures for several days, hampering residents' ability to move in and out of the town.
