Thousands of Palestinians gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque for the dawn prayer on Friday, undeterred by obstacles and the heavy presence of the Israeli Occupation army in the vicinity.

Despite the challenges, a number of worshipers filled the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the dawn prayer, firmly expressing their rejection of plans to temporally and spatially divide the sacred mosque.

Following the dawn prayer, hundreds of worshipers remained within the confines of Al-Aqsa Mosque, engaging in religious supplications, lessons, readings, and communal breakfasts. This gathering is set to continue until the Friday prayers at the mosque.

These events unfold as extremist Temple organizations intensify efforts to increase settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish holidays, spanning from mid-September to early October. Such raids traditionally surge during this period.

In response, calls persist from Jerusalemites to counter anticipated settler incursions by bolstering the presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque and warmly welcoming visitors.
