A private hospital in the city of Irbid was temporarily closed on Monday following a recommendation from the Ministry of Health due to logistical issues.

Governor Radwan Atoum explained that the closure was prompted by issues with the hospital's electrical power systems, as well as deficiencies in essential medical equipment and supplies. The hospital also requires building repairs.

The closure will remain in effect until all necessary corrections are made to meet the Ministry's standards for private hospitals.

A committee formed to assess the hospital's conditions has identified several critical areas that require immediate attention.
