A 10-year-old boy was injured after being shot in the head, fired by another 6-year-old relative while playing with his father's gun inside a house in the Manara area of the capital, Amman, according to a security source.

The source told Roya that the firearm belonged to the relative's father, who was playing with it. The source added that the boy was rushed to Al-Bashir Hospital and is in critical condition, while the father has been detained.

Security services opened an investigation into the incident.
