Wednesday, a substantial influx of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens was observed at the central wholesale market managed by the Greater Amman Municipality. The total quantity amounted to 2,938 tons, with vegetables accounting for 1,886 tons, fruits at 920 tons, and leafy vegetables totaling 131 tons.

Local produce prices per kilogram demonstrated the following range: the cost of vine leaves varied between 150 and 500 piasters, red lettuce ranged from 300 to 350 piasters, Chinese lettuce priced between 15 and 25 piasters, pistachios between 400 and 600 piasters, mushrooms between 400 and 450 piasters and figs were priced between 100 and 400 piasters.

For imported items, based on the central market bulletin and the released price list: kiwi ranged between 300 and 350 piasters, avocados were priced between 200 and 250 piasters, pears were available at 120 to 200 piasters per kilo, and pineapples ranged from 110 to 150 piasters.
