A Jordanian man, identified as Bassam Abdel Rahman Al-Khatib, was fatally shot in his workplace in New York City, according to what his brother told Roya.

The father of two, who was in his thirties, worked in a shop where masked men entered and shot him, all of which was caught on tape.

His brother called on the Jordanian embassy in Washington to work with the US government to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

The media spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Sinan al-Majali told Roya that the ministry is following up on the case with the Jordanian embassy in Washington and the relevent US authorities.
