Tuesday, Iran reopened its embassy in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, several months after the two countries reached an agreement through the Chinese mediation which aimed at ending the years-long diplomatic dispute.

As part of efforts to strengthen Saudi-Iranian relations, Iran has reopened its embassy in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, in a step that comes as part of the implementation of bilateral agreements between the two countries.

Representatives of the Saudi and Iranian foreign ministries attended the opening ceremony of the Iranian embassy.
