A water park was ordered to pay JD 210,000 in compensation for a cleaning worker who suffered complete paralysis after falling from one of the company's games while performing cleaning duties.

The Amman Criminal Court, under the leadership of Judge Kamal Al-Samardali, has issued the verdict, after the employee filed a lawsuit against the company for suffering multiple fractures in his limbs and body when he slipped while cleaning.

The man fell outside the designated pool, hitting the ground and resulting in total disability.

The court determined that the defendant water park failed to implement adequate safety measures for both workers and visitors at the water resort. This negligence was considered a grave mistake by the company, directly contributing to the worker's injury.

In accordance with Article 343 of the Civil Code, the court has decided that the company is legally obligated to compensate the injured worker with a sum of JD 210,000.
