A stray dog attacked a 10-year-old child on Palestine Street in Irbid Tuesday morning, according to Roya's reporter.

He added that the boy's father said that the dog bit his son in front of their house as he was leaving for school.

The boy was injured in several parts of his body and had to be taken to the hospital.

Roya's correspondent noted that the number of dog attacks has reportedly increased in Irbid.
