The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) carried out two raids and arrested two drug dealers in Irbid and Ma'an.

The spokesman said they successfully located and arrested the drug dealer in Irbid, who was wanted for several cases of attempted murder, shooting and narcotics.

During the raid they seized 22 slabs of hashish and 2.5 kg of 'Joker powder' and 3,000 sachets of 'Joker powder.'

In Ma’an, a drug dealer was arrested and a total of four slabs of hashish, 1,000 narcotic pills, a quantity of hashish and one firearm were seized.

During the raid, two other individuals were also arrested.

Investigations are underway.
