A family in Amman asked for a woman's hand in marriage on behalf of their son, who currently resides in the US and had to virtually attend through video call.

The couple were happily engaged after the woman's parents agreed to the marriage proposal.

The groom was unable to attend the event in person due to incomplete official paperwork, which prevented him from being able to fly to Jordan and ask for the woman's hand in person.

The groom had to virtually attend his own 'Jaha,' which is the traditional event in which the groom's family asks the woman's family for her hand in marriage.
